Why Donate?
Every year, brilliant Czech and Slovak students receive offers from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, traditionally world class institutions. For many, acceptance is the achievement of a lifetime. Yet since Brexit, tuition fees for non-UK students have risen to more than £40,000 per year, placing world-class education far beyond the reach of most families.
Our organisation exists to change that.
By connecting donors directly with accepted students, we ensure that financial barriers do not prevent talented young people from pursuing the education they have earned. Your support goes beyond a single student: it strengthens the Czech and Slovak academic pipelines, fosters innovation across industries, and builds a community of future leaders who bring their skills home.
Full Transparency & Direct Impact
We are deliberately structured as a transparent intermediary between donors and students. All funds donated through our foundation are applied exclusively to tuition fees, paid directly to Oxford or Cambridge once the student provides their university invoice.
1. 100% of your contributed amount goes toward student tuition.
2. All payments are transferred directly to the university, never to the student.
3. Administrative and operational costs are covered separately, ensuring your donation has maximum impact.
How to help?
We propose and support three approaches that allow prospective students to finance their studies. F'or the following three types of financial help, we have predefined contracts which make helping out as easy as possible. We also allow customising the donation conditions to the benefactor's wishes, such as wanting the student to return back to the Czech or Slovak republic within some time after they graduate.
Donation
Donate money to empower Czech and Slovak talent and brighten our collective future
Soft loan
Student loans with zero or very generous interest rates

Pay-it-forward Donation
The student will donate money to future students, once their income allows them to do so

How the process works
1. You Receive a List of Students
Once students admitted to Oxford or Cambridge apply for financial assistance, our organization verifies how much financial support the student requires.
After this verification, you receive a curated list of eligible students from which you may choose whom to support. This outreach happens in three waves (February, April, June), aligned with when students receive their acceptance letters.
You may then:
-
review the student profiles,
-
contact students directly or through our organization if you wish,
-
or simply decide to support a student without further communication.
2. Deciding on Your Contribution and Terms
As a donor, you may contribute any amount you choose.
You can support a student in two ways:
-
Use our customizable pre-prepared donation agreements
We provide ready-made agreement templates that you can adapt if needed. These include clear terms, such as what happens if the student ultimately does not attend their programme, and allow us to handle all administrative steps smoothly. -
Set your own terms directly with the student
If you prefer a fully individualized arrangement, you may agree on the conditions of support directly with the student.
3. Signing the Agreement and Transferring the Funds
Once you select a student and confirm the terms, we prepare the agreement for signature. After signing you transfer your contribution to our transparent bank account, using the unique variable symbol assigned to you so that the funds are correctly matched to your chosen student.
4. We Take Care of the Rest
At the start of the academic year, the student sends us their official tuition invoice from the university, and we pay the tuition on their behalf using your contribution.
If the student does not end up attending, the agreement specifies your options, which may include refunding your donation, transferring it to another student, or using it to help additional applicants.
Whatever the scenario, we manage the process for you from start to finish.
